This just in, air pods are now available from Apple and hold on, I'm getting another message.

No, they're not.

It seriously seems to have happened almost that fast.

Nine to five Mac ran a piece early in the day on Tuesday saying that air pods are now available to buy from Apple's online store with delivery before Christmas.

Not long after that, the site issued an update saying as expected AirPOD stock is limited an hour later the product is no longer available for Christmas delivery in the US

Delivery estimates are now quoting December 29th availability.

eBay is already flooded with scalpers selling air pods at inflated prices.

Well four days after Christmas isn't the whoops, hang on a completely separate piece from

nine to five mac later in the day said customers who didn't order during the initial hour

likely won't see air pods until 2017 as shipping estimates have

already climbed to four weeks out. Sure enough a quick check of Apple site as I

write this shows a shipping time of four weeks that would put wireless listening

a couple of weeks into the new year. With such short supply it's surprising how

aggressive Apple is trying to be with AirPods launch.
