Analysts on Apple's next year, one iPad part maker ups capacity, and can a dead pop star give new life to ping?

Apple is set to keep winning in the mobile space next year, so says can a cord

genuity analyst T Michael Walkley. Electronista has T Mikey saying the All Things Eye Maker will maintain both market and profit share leadership in mobile devices during 2011,

thanks to continued strong sell-through trends for the iPad and iPhone.

He likes the fact that, as of last quarter, Apple took nearly half of all industry profits

for mobile devices and tablets.

He also likes the fact that Apple owns roughly 75% of the tablet space this year,

though he expects that to slip to 50% control over the course of 2011 as more companies bring

iPad wannabies online. Finally the Canicord analyst is pleased with the high

profit margins Apple claims on the iPhone.

Still bullish on Apple, though apparently not as bullish as Walkely,

is Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster.
