CNBC had Unkey Jean on the show Squawk Box on Monday, talking over a survey of this year's most sought after holiday gifts.

At top the list is the Jesus phone, which seems appropriate given the season.

According to the analyst, a survey of 1,000 consumers conducted by Pepper Jaffrey's retail team

shows iPhone at the top of Respondent's holiday wish list.

The percentage of people who wanted an iPhone was 7.2% according to Mr Munster.

That's up from the 5.2 who wanted an iPhone this time last year.

While small sounding 7.2% was enough to make iPhone number one in terms of

desirability. The number of respondents who wanted a Macbook were enough to make

it the second most desired gift on the list.

It is an amazingly spread out list though.

Apple's laptops only need a 2.1% score to take second. Only one other device. Microsoft's Xbox made more than a whole

percent. The game console was in third place with a 1.4% ranking. The fourth place item, Smartwatch, came in at 0.9%. Well that could be good news for

Apple Watch. It may be telling that the fourth place item was not an Apple watch specifically.

Instead it carried the rather generic sounding smart watch label.
