Looking for a home pod under the tree this year, you have a better chance of spotting Santa and we all know how sneaky he is.

Apple has pushed delivery of its internet-connected smart speaker sound system from sometime next month to early next year.

The Verge received a statement from Apple saying,

we can't wait for people to experience Home Pod,

Apple's breakthrough wireless speaker for the home,

but we need a little more time before it's ready for

our customers. We'll start shipping in the US, UK, and Australia in early 2018.

Oh great. What am I supposed to buy now? 2018.

Oh great, what am I supposed to buy now? An updated Apple Watch, an iPhone 10, an iPad Pro?

How could you do this to me, Apple? I feel like I've made my point, but hey, you're busy.
