seems someone forgot to tell all the shoppers.

Apple Insider has word of a new note from J.P. Morgan.

They've been over Apple's 10K and found that 31% of Apple's income for fiscal year 2019 came from retail.

According to the piece, Apple's retail strategy is driving greater direct purchases from customers, with Apple stores

and its website accounting for 31% of total revenue for the financial year.

This is an improvement from the 29% seen for the 2018 fiscal year and 28% in 2017.

The piece also puts forth the supposition that greater sales from Apple's own outlets is likely to help drive Apple care revenues, which in turn helps boost Apple's services revenue in general.

Kind of funny.

I personally fall into the trap of thinking of Apple services

as things we buy through our iPhones,

not things we buy along with them.
