Apple stores started sales at 8 a.m.

there was still a line stretching down the block on 58th Street outside the flagship Fifth Avenue store when he passed by at 930.

When he checked again before noon, the line was gone because the phones were gone, as

in sold out. Employees were suggesting people stop by at 6 a.m. the following morning,

inconvenient but not totally weird since the Fifth Avenue Apple Store is open 24 hours a day, even in its temporary

location.

Proving that some habits die hard, or not at all, not Piper Jaffrey analyst Jean Munster was chatting people up in an iPhone line

Someplace well it's unclear where that line was it seems to have been fairly high traffic. Of my favorite Wall Street

uncle, Barron says, he chatted with 134 people waiting and found that 99 of them

were looking to buy the higher capacity 256 gigabyte model of the iPhone 10.

There were two bits of good news for Apple in that line.

The first is obvious.
