Time for Apple's quarterly reckoning.

Later today, the Cupertino Sea Suite will let investors, analysts, and the world at large

in on how much it made last quarter, how much it expects to make this quarter, and how much it's

giving back to shareholders. What it's up

against for last quarter is a revenue range between 61 and 64 billion dollars.

That was Apple's wide-ranging guidance for the quarter according to 9-5 Mac.

Analysts tracked by Apple 3.0's Philip Elmer DeWitt think Apple will sell in at the high end of that range, expecting on average revenue of $63.51 billion.

For the current quarter, they're looking for a higher and tighter guidance range of $85.92 billion to $87.25 billion.

Business insiders says watchers will be paying particular attention to services,

both those out already and those to come.

That site says the report should detail whether Apple's bet on its services business continues to thrive or is beginning to fizzle out.
