0:49.8	Suddenly it's not so bad to be Sprint, and just because of its new found friend the iPhone 4S.
0:55.8	CNN Money has the third largest wireless carrier in the states saying it added 1.3 million new customers in the third quarter, the most it's added in any quarter in the last five years.
1:08.0	Kind of neat, though most of those customers were added to Sprint Brands Boost and Virgin Mobile, meaning a lot of them were
1:15.1	prepaid customers who could walk off at any time.
1:18.8	That was, of course, before Sprint started selling the iPhone.
1:22.1	Well Sprint declined to give hard numbers for
1:23.9	iPhone sales on a quarterly earnings call held yesterday, the company did say
1:28.4	that the iPhone has attracted new customers at a faster rate than any smartphone Sprint has had before and
1:34.3	faster than Sprint itself had thought it would. And they aren't prepaid people who can
1:39.5	walk away at any time, at least not without paying a penalty.
