He's not fitting Apple's most recent phone against the upcoming iPhone 10.

Rather, he and his are looking at intent to purchase iPhones in general.

And what they see looks good to them.

Apple Insider has word of a survey run by UBS and 451 research, after just over 3,800 people polled, nothing kinky.

Interest in a new iPhone looks higher than it has in the past few years.

Quoting the piece, amid concerns over the debut of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus, a new survey finds

that the trio of those phones plus the iPhone 10 is generating considerable buying buzz with 69% of North American consumers

planning to buy a new iPhone within the next three months. 2014 was the last

time those numbers were that high.

With that year's release of iPhone 6,

iPhone Intentibi actually climbed as high as 71%.

Perhaps the most interesting parts of the survey are the numbers that show respondents

willingness to go big.
