Wall Street seems pleased with Apple this week.

The competition takes a couple of shots at Apple.

With so much known or speculated before the Tuesday iPad event, most analysts seemed to have taken everything Apple had to offer in

stride most of them lots of repetition in the notes presented by fortune though

each had a few interesting points.

Goldman Sachs analyst Bill Schope says he and his people see Apple's increasingly free software

model as an important long-term driver of its ecosystem breadth and installed base loyalty. He's got a

buy rating on Apple shares and a price target of $560.

Bernstein research analyst Tony Sakanagi likes the fact that iPad Air is rolling out to 42 first round

countries including China this year versus last year's fourth gen iPad

rollout to 34 first round countries China not included. At the same time he worries that

shipments and revenue will likely fall more sharply once initial demand is

met. The high and the low leave him about where he started with an outperform reading on Apple's shares and a price target of $600.

Scott Craig at Merrill Lynch is so bored.

Apple refreshed its iPad, iPad mini, MacBookbook pro, and Mac. board. A continued theme at Apple recently. He also thinks it's like totally lame that Apple

won't go after the low end of the market price-wise. Mr Craig downgraded his rating on

Apple shares to neutral.
