Apple has delivered the personal computer not only has the max seen significant growth

the iPad is actually sucked away some of the money people would have otherwise spent on PCs

According to the firm Apple seems to have sold a record 2.3 million Mac in the US alone in the just ended September quarter,

representing 21% growth year over year

and giving it a 12.9% cut of the computer space in the states.

That puts Apple in third in the US and makes it one of only two

in the top five that saw sales growth. Top seller HP grew unit sales 15%

to take a 28.9% share. Second place Dell slipped 7%

though it still managed to hold on to 21.9% of the market.

Apple was third followed by Tashiba, which saw a 4% decline to an 8.4% share.

Fifth place Aiser dropped an astounding 25%, clutching a 7.8% share of the computer market in the States.

According to Gartner, the main contributor to the weak consumer PC market in the U.S.
