Apple's barrage of micro updates continues.

Last week it was iOS 11.0.1.

This week it was iOS 11.0.2 and watch OS 4.0.1.

And we are not done. The Mac Observer says Apple has released Mac OS

High Sierra 10.13 supplemental update. The update squash is small bugs and plugs a couple of security holes.

On the bug front, Apple's release notes say the update improves installer robustness, fixes

a cursor graphic bug when using Adobe In design and results an issue where email messages couldn't be deleted from Yahoo accounts in mail.

As for the security fixes, the piece says one fix for storage kit fixes a password hint issue with

encrypted APFS volumes. The other stops malicious applications from extracting keychain passwords. I want to go back to the storage

kit one though because it's kind of funny. According to the vulnerability

description, if a hint was set in disc utility when creating an APFS encrypted volume, the

password was stored as the hint. This was addressed by clearing hint storage if the hint was the password and by improving the logic for storing hints.
