strength of new iPhones. The site Investopedia had RBC Capital analyst to meet Daryanani issuing a note saying more people plan to upgrade

this year than planned to a year ago. An RBC survey of 5,000 people found 26% planning to buy an iPhone versus 2017's 20%.

All of this bodes well for Apple's bottom line.

Quoting Daryanani's note,

we think demand for this generation of iPhones,

10S Max, 10S and 10-R, is robust

and average selling prices and gross margins could improve given mixed benefits.

iPhone 10S Max was the most popular phone among prospective iPhone buyers with 25% preferring it in our survey despite its high price.

Dary Anani has an outperform rating on Apple shares.

He used Wednesday's note to up his 12-month price target from $240 to $250.

While Apple graduated Apple TV from Hobby Status some time ago, it's not been as big a hit as some might have expected.

Now, new numbers from Limelight networks show it's not even as big a hit as it was this time last year.
