When word hit that Apple had moved the release date for iOS 13.1 from the 30th of September to the 24th,

a lot of people said people who hadn't updated to iOS 13 yet should just wait the five extra days. Looking over the

release notes for iOS 13.1 yeah maybe. Mac Rumors sums up some of the new features among Maybe. The P says it'll let users create personal and home automations using the shortcuts

app to have certain actions performed when specific conditions occur. Share ETA

also removed in the iOS 13 beta, the piece has this feature lets users share their estimated time of arrival to a location with a friend or family member,

letting the receiver follow along with the trip.

Volume indicator. People were already singing the praises of this change which saw the

volume indicator move from the center of the screen to a less

obtrusive space on the display's edge. Now though it's been tweaked again

indicating with the unique icon when certain devices such as AirPods, HomePods, and

certain Beats headphones are being controlled.

There's also a special icon for when two headphones are connected to an iPhone or iPad because of

course audio sharing. This feature brought out in iOS 13 has expanded beyond AirPods and PowerBeats Pro headphones to all Beats

headphones with an H1 and W1 chip. Home Kit, icons for Apple's Internet of Things Smart Home Protocol have been revised in the

iOS 13.1 update, providing more detailed realistic designs according to the piece.
