Right off the top, let me say, there's a story going around about a document that was allegedly leaked from Apple

that tells you everything you would want to know about what the next iPhone is going to be called,

when various software updates are coming out, and whether we're going to get new iPads

anytime soon. We know we're getting new iPads something like seven have been

registered with the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Even if I hadn't skim the story about the document,

I'd have said now is not a good time to buy a new iPad

unless you seriously need one, like today.

I'm not doing a story about what's in the allegedly leaked

document for a couple of reasons. First, the site I was reading made a point of

saying that they couldn't independently verify the document's authenticity.

And second, and perhaps the bigger of the two reasons I'm not telling you everything in the

story about the document, I miss being surprised. Remember what that was like, not

knowing what Apple was going to say until somebody stood up on stage and said it? I feel certain I will not be able to avoid what's in the

document for the next week. I mean I do an Apple news show every day, unless I'm

taking the next six days off, which I'm not just doing what I do means I'm

going to see what's out there. But I'm going to avoid it for as long as I can. If you want all of the potentially spoiler-rific

rumors, any site that covers Apple on a daily basis will probably have you covered.
