Who is the most powerful financial analyst in the land?

One might be able to make a case that that person is Pacific Rest securities analyst Andy Hargreaves.

Barons had Hargreaves issuing a note on Wednesday wherein he gave Apple investors some interesting advice,

Get Well, the the getons good.

Or put the way he put it, we recommend taking profits in Apple because unless next week's

event details massive incremental profit opportunities, we are likely to downgrade

Apple's rating. And that's what makes the advice interesting. Currently Pacific Crest

has Apple rated as outperform.

Not unlike the Mona Equity Research analyst Stuart Jeffrey from whom the world heard earlier this week,

Hard Reeves seems to see one story for Apple right now, that story being the iPhone.

And he's heard it before.

Quoting his note, we expect Apple to gain material share and see a higher rate of early upgrades through the iPhone

six product cycle. However, we believe sales to new iPhone users will decline beyond the

iPhone 6, which is likely to drive iPhone unit sales down in fiscal year 2016.
