Securities Analyt is excited about iPhone sales near term, but he's not

sure about 2017.

This actually kind of makes sense if you think about it.

He thinks sales expectations for iPhone

have been drawn down to such a level that Apple should have no trouble meeting or

beating them. He's looking for Apple to have produced 194 million iPhones by years and and to have shipped 211 million iPhones by years and to have shipped 211 million.

As for 2017, Bless the analyst.

He thinks there are too many unknowns around the iPhone Apple will likely introduce, not next week, but a little over a year from now, to know what's going on.

Quoting his note, calendar year 2017 shipments will highly depend on the sell-through data and adoption slash availability of O-led displays for the next generation phones.

Our Japan team's expectations for calendar year 2017 are fairly wide, expecting 178 million to

230 million phones, and we expect them to narrow once we get more feedback on the new phones.

Meza-Hoo's security says a buy rating on Apple shares.

Mr. Lamba's price target on the shares is $120.
