Apple says it's sorry, it will do it again.

Though as the song goes, there'll be some changes made.

In a post on its site on Wednesday, the company said it is still all about privacy.

Siri was designed with privacy in mind,

and sorry we didn't live up to our own high standards.

In one section of the post post Apple talked about the kind of

data Siri accesses and how that data is kept private. Quoting that, when we store

Siri data on our servers we don't use it to build a

marketing profile and we never sell it to anyone we use Siri data only to

improve Siri and we are constantly developing technologies to make Siri even more private.

Apple says Siri uses as little data as possible to deliver an accurate result,

though the more granular the request, the more specific data it needs.

If you ask Siri to read you a message, Siri tells your phone to do it.
