It's the rumor we've all been waiting for again.

Buzzfeed ran a piece on Thursday saying that Apple will debut a new Apple TV in September.

For details, revisit the rumors of a new Apple TV that were circulating before last month's Worldwide Developers Conference.

Buzzfeet acknowledges those earlier rumors and even sort of seems to claim credit for them.

As Bullwinkle would say though, this time for sure.

Quoting the reports, expect a refreshed and slimmer chassis and new innards,

their word, not mine.

Apple's A8 system on chip, a new remote that sources say has been drastically improved by a touchpad input,

an increase in on-board storage, and an improved operating system that will support Siri voice control.

Crucially the new Apple TV will debut alongside a long-awaited App Store

and the Software Development Kit developers need to populate it.

That's all according to an unnamed source or sources. Of course

the other big rumor ahead of W. W. D.C. was that Apple would show up with some

sort of over-the-top subscription service.
