Apples in with the end crowd at Morgan Stanley,

Baron, says the financial institution has put the all things I make on its vintage values list. That's a list

of 15 stocks that Morgan thinks investors should own for the next 12 months. The

piece says the list is made of companies with greater

than $1 billion in market cap and a likelihood of realizing superior risk-adjusted

returns between now and July 2015. The firm offers no new information on Apple,

though one could argue that its inclusion on the list constitutes new information.

Interestingly, Apple is said to be the only technology company on the short list

and it kicked Google and Qualcomm off to get there.

Both of those companies were on the list last year when Apple was not. Other vintage values for this year include American Express, Estelle Laud Nike. Morgan Stanley has a buy rating on

Apple's shares. The firm's price target on the shares is a rather amusing

sounding $98.57.

If it's a couple of months to the next iPhone, it must be time for the annual rumor that

Apple is ditching Samsung for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company,

also known as T-S-M-C.
