There was a question raised on last weekend's I chart radio.

Did the deal negotiate it between Apple and the record labels

for the three-month free trial for Apple Music mean that musicians would not be

getting paid for those three months? It was known that Apple would not be paying the labels

for those three months but did that absolve the labels from having to pay the

artists? Apparently so. But now Apple will cover it. We turn the clock back to sometime Sunday. That's

when Musician and Rabelrauser Taylor Swift posted to Tumblr that her album 1989 would not be on Apple Music because she couldn't see giving it

away for free for three months.

Schenette had Swift saying three months is a long time to go unpaid and it is unfair to ask anyone to work for nothing.

Instead she asked Apple the richest company on the planet to pay artists, writers, and producers for the three-month trial period, even if it is free for the fans trying it out.

Of course, Swift is not running short on cash either, though she says her stand is for the little man or

the little band quoting seen that in her call for change from Apple Swift said that

she is standing up for new bands young young songwriters, and behind the scenes producers
