Okay. I spent all day Sunday trying to figure out how I was going to do a normal show today.

Instead, I don't think I should.

Stories about lawsuits and Apple TV Plus and broken iPads.

I don't think they belong today.

I'm not even going to bother going into what's been going on at Apple stores over the weekend

except to say that if you were planning on going to one, be sure to check before you head out.

A lot of stores in the US that had reopened from the COVID-19 closures have closed again

either because they were looted or to prevent them from being looted.

So Apple CEO Tim Cook sent out a letter to employees Sunday evening.

I spotted it on Mac rumors, but I'm sure it's all over all the Apple sites. I'm going to

read you most of that. I'm going to wish you well and we'll meet back here

tomorrow. Here's most of that letter.

Right now there is a pain deeply etched in the soul of our nation and in the hearts of millions.

To stand together we must stand up for one another and recognize the fear, hurt, and outrage

rightly provoked by the senseless killing of George Floyd

and a much longer history of racism.

That painful past is still present today, not only in the form of violence, but in the everyday

experience of deeply rooted discrimination.

We see it in our criminal justice system and the

disproportionate toll of disease on black and brown communities and the

inequalities in neighborhood services and the educations our children receive.
