Remember all the stuff we talked about Friday, about how different the Apple retail experience is in the COVID-19 world?

People in parts of the US may find out as soon as today.

CNBC ran a report Friday saying that Apple stores in four US states are set to reopen today,

though that seems to have shifted in some locations.

The piece quoted a statement from an Apple rep which said, we're excited to begin

reopening stores in the US next week. That was last week so now this week

starting with some stores in Idaho, South Carolina, Alabama and Alaska. Our team is

constantly monitoring local health data and government guidance and as soon as we can safely open our stores, we will.

Those four states account for six of Apple's 271 U.S. stores.

The CNBC piece said it was unclear whether all six of those stores would open.

Just before recording, I checked stores in those states.

Apple Boise Town Square in Idaho is set to open today from 11 a.m.

stores in Birmingham and Huntsville, Alabama are set to open Wednesday.

Apple Store in Charleston, South Carolina is set to open Wednesday as well,

while the Apple Store in Greenville, South Carolina shows as closed with no open hours on the schedule.
