before the movie Avengers infinity war came out

I saw an article with a headline that said something to the effect of

let's face it there are too many Avengers and Avengers infinity war.

Before the movie came out, before anybody had seen it.

No idea why I thought of that yesterday

when Apple reported second quarter earnings

for fiscal year 2018.

What happened?

A few big things.

Business insiders says shares of Apple were up over 4% and after hours trading Tuesday, this after Apple wowed the street with its numbers.

What's weird is the Business Insider piece has Apple reported second quarter earnings that

topped analyst expectations.

According to that piece, Apple reported revenue of $61.1 billion versus an expected $60.86 billion.

Earnings per share of $2.73 versus an expected $2.60, and iPhones sold came at at 52.2 million versus

an expected 51.9 million units. That does sound like a beat. Except the numbers we heard Monday

and a piece from Market Watch had analysts calling for revenue of 61 billion

to 62 billion earnings per share of between $2.69 and $273, and iPhone sales of about
