Rumors of Product Red versions of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus turned out to be mostly correct.

I told you Monday of a Mac Rumors report that said the iPhone for awareness could be out as soon as yesterday.

Now the Mac Observer says the red phone was announced yesterday, though orders for it didn't

or don't or won't start until Tuesday the 10th of April. That's today, unless it's not. Depends on when these

words hit your head. According to the piece, the product Red iPhone 8 line will be available in 64

gigabyte and 256 gigabyte capacities starting at $699. That is the

standard starting price for a non-red iPhone 8.

If you're a walk-in and buy kind of guy or gal,

Apple says the product red iPhone will be available in stores this Friday, the 13th of April.

Being a global effort, the new iPhones will not be a US-only affair.

According to Apple's press release on the color for a Cause, the new phones will be available this week in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, and the US.

They'll hit later in the month in Brazil, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan,
