Two days before people can order the device and two weeks and two days before the Hoyoy get to Strap One on, early reviewers of Applewatch

were revealed on Wednesday. Those revelations came in the form of their reviews. Fortune gathered a bunch of those up, pulling bits and pieces from them.

Don't expect to know what you're doing right away.

For Rod Manjou of the New York Times says it took three days, three long, often confusing and frustrating

days for him to fall for Apple Watch.

Fall for it he eventually did though, once he got the hang of it.

Unlike some Apple devices, it just works may not apply for Apple's chronometer.

A more appropriate phrase might be it just works eventually.

Jeffrey Fowler of the Wall Street Journal writes that setting up alerts and other features is a tedious and unfortunately ongoing chore.

Bad as that review sounds though, it's not overall.
