Mac Rumors says the Netflix app for iOS no longer supports Airplay.

For those who don't remember what it does, Apple's Airplay page says Airplay

lets you share videos, photos, music, and more from your Apple devices to your

Apple TV, favorite speakers, and soon, popular smart TVs.

And that Netflix would have you believe is the issue. Initially the

company said technical limitations kept Netflix from airplaying from

iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. That's kind of tough to buy though, since Netflix

over Airplay worked fine from those devices from 2013 until last week. Perhaps realizing nobody would buy the technical limitations thing,

Netflix changed its tune,

now the streamer says it's killed airplay
