Slice Intelligence is kind of scary sounding.

Here's what the company says about itself.

That last part is the part that sounds scary.

And yet it's a decent sounding source of data.

And Slice has a take on sales of iPhone SE.

The bad news, sales of iPhone SE were way small by iPhone standards.

The company says the number of iPhone SE's bought the first weekend of availability

was 94% smaller than the iPhone 6 S launch, which was 46% the number of iPhone 6 devices sold

when it was released.

So we're likely looking at millions, but probably not millions and millions.
