So it happened again last weekend.

iPad too went on sale and sold out pretty quickly, at least on parts of the planet.

I saw mentions, though nothing official of sellouts in Australia and Paris, and official

word of sellouts in the UK and Canada, those come compliments of

Elekronista. They did some calling around over the weekend to

Canadian Apple stores as well as Best Buy's and future shops in Canada

and their iPad 2 cupboards were bare. All of London's

Apple stores were said to have run out as well as third-party sellers such as

Carphone Warehouse, Curries, PC, and Phones for You.

Expect to hear more about sellouts or lack thereof around the globe in the coming days.

Piper Jaffrey analyst Gene Munster is a little less worried about supply disruptions this week.
