Insanette analyst Jeffrey Kall is getting more excited about the flagship

of Apple's anticipated flagship phones. A couple of weeks ago, JK issued a note saying

he thought production of iPhone, rhymes with bait, would not

kick off in earnest until September or October of this year.

His thoughts then were components related to the 3D Center camera, wireless charging, and the high density layout for Stackup SLP will be challenging to integrate and may restrict initial production yields.

His feeling then was that people would either go with something in the iPhone 7S line

or that they'd wait for the bait.

While his feelings on that have not changed, he thinks Apple will still blow the roof off the top of the line phone.

Baron Ted Kavall issuing a note on Friday saying he thinks Apple's planning to build a lot more iPhone 8s than other analysts

think.

Quoting his note, Samsung is set to ship Apple 8 million o-led displays and another supplier 105 to 110 million

3D cameras sensors in the second half of 2017, even accounting for inventory built and initial low yields, we believe Apple is preparing to ship easily

45 million to 60 million iPhone 8s.

As the players expect the 8 to be about 50% of total units.

This translate to 90 plus million total phones
