Rumors around an Apple News premium service have been swirling for months now there's data or bits of data to back them up. Venture Beats

as developer Steve Troton Smith has found dialogue boxes and hooks for the

service in the latest beta release of Maco West 10. boxes and

hooks for the service in the latest beta release of Mac OS 10.14.4.

According to the piece, the new service is expected to be called Apple News

magazines and as expected appears to be called Apple News Magazines and as expected appears to be heavily based upon the

all you can read Texture magazine service Apple acquired last year.

If Tron Smith's findings make it past the beta, it does sound like the new service

will work a heck of a lot like texture. The way it looks to Venture Beat, in exchange for paying

a monthly subscription fee, users will be able to choose

from a large collection of magazines selecting specific ones for a list of my magazines to actively

watch.

Apple's news app will display notifications when new issues are available,

group notifications with multiple issue titles,

and individual notifications specific to followed publications,

complete with a brief text blurb to encourage reading.
