humming along with this idea that things are getting back to normal in China. I like this idea because I like

normal. I mean I like better than normal better but normal than worse than normal. For me, Christmas is better than normal, while normal is better than, well, now.

I like the idea that China was getting back to normal because a return to

normalcy from bad is good. Then came this story from Nikk Asian Review under the headline, China demand for e-learning

bites into Apple's iPad supply.

Quoting the first paragraph, stocks of Apple's iPad are running low in China, as families

snap up the tablets to help with e-learning at home in response to coronavirus-related school

closures. That there aren't enough isn't overly surprising.

Manufacturing was shut down for an extended period of time at the start of the year.

FoxCon is said to be opening facilities again and there is little doubt that they are.

Apple is also opening stores again in China.

In my head that meant that things were getting back to normal.

But if people are still trying to get iPads because schools are still closed,

well the return to business as usual may not mean back to normal. Some higher ed
