William the Weathervane Power thinks the winds are blowing Apple's way.

Barons ran a piece Tuesday that had the R. W. Baird analyst seeing the same slowdown

in iPhone sales as everyone else. He's not as worried as some, though, for a couple of reasons.

First, while sales of iPhone might be slowing, the phones holding its own in terms of market share, and the second reason, services, and the

site of wearables.

Quoting his note, our semi-annual US Apple survey confirms slowing smartphone purchase intent, but on a bright note suggests continued strong iPhone share.

That, coupled with success with newer products like Apple Watch, and services like Apple Music, underscores the ecosystem opportunity.

The way he sees it, services will account for 19% of Apple sales and 33% of its profits this year.

For 2020, he's looking for services to account for 21% of Apple's sales and 37% of its profits.

Powell used Tuesday's note to reiterate his outperform rating on Apple's shares.

His price target on the shares is $185.
