Another prediction for strong Apple watch sales,

Barons has the market tracker CCS Insights seeing big things for

wearables in the next four years, driven largely by Apple's chronometer.

By 2022, C.S sees wearables growing to a $29 billion market, a huge chunk of which will be Apple Watch.

According to one of the firm's analysts, Apple has become the market leader for Smart Watches.

Sales volumes have exceeded expectations and the introduction of a cellular

enabled model has pushed up the value of its sales, which we estimate at five billion dollars

in 2017. And the train hasn't even gotten up to speed yet.

CCS thinks Apple will sell 16 million watches this year, up 60% from 2017 according to the report. The firm also expects Apple to match

sales of Swiss watches this year which would mean a significant tanking for the

makers of the mechanical watches.

Last year the piece says Swiss watches sold 24 million units.

The firm also points to growth in the world of Android Ware, though that growth is not as robust.
