Just yesterday we heard rumors of Apple's anticipated video streaming service

and of the possibility of Apple getting into gaming, either through hardware changes

or by partnering with existing game developers on some sort of subscription service.

Of course you know what all of that means.

Apple needs Blockbuster acquisitions in gaming and video streaming to thrive.

So says the headline of an Apple insider piece based on a note from J.P. Morgan.

The financial firm, not the guy. The guy's been dead for over a century.

Amusingly the firm's note is written in a sort of helpful manner,

noting Apple's plan to be net cash neutral in the long term and Apple's propensity for making more money

J.P. Morgan figures one way for Apple to achieve its goal is to buy big things. In addition to continued stock buybacks, the

firm thinks Apple should use its balance sheet strength to insulate the business
