Each year, fairly early in the year, Samsung holds an event to announce its next big smartphone.

And each year that announcement comes with prophecies of doom for Apple.

Apple, which cannot innovate.

Apple, which cannot keep selling iPhones the way it sold iPhones to this point.

Such does not appear to be the case this year.

Oh, Samsung is introducing a new phone to be sure. Business insider says the

Korean electronics maker will introduce the device expected to be called the

Galaxy S6 in Barcelona on the 1st of March.

But nowhere in the business insider ride-up are the usual hints that Apple could be hurt

by the upcoming smartphone.

In fact, the P sees the odds stacked fairly high against Samsung's next phone being what

Samsung wants it to be.
