I got an interesting email from Apple yesterday.

Did you know they're releasing an iPhone on the Verizon network?

This will come as a shock to people who also haven't heard about O.J. Simpson and the

Moan Landing. That's right. O.J. fake the Moan Landing. You heard it here first.

Cooper Tino, California, February 2nd, 2011, Apple today announced an exclusive opportunity

for Verizon Wireless's 94 million customers to pre-order iPhone for online beginning on Thursday, February 3rd,

through the Apple store and at Verizon Wireless.com slash iPhone.

Due to high demand, customer orders will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis.

That started in the middle of the night last night and ordering was easy, peasy for at least one listener.

More on that in a moment.

According to the press release, any qualified customer who's not a current Verizon customer

and want an iPhone for on Verizon will be able to order from Apple beginning on Wednesday, February 9th for

delivery or in-store pickup starting February 10th for everyone else.

7 a.m. local time on Thursday, February 10th, iPhone 4 on Verizon will be available to all qualified customers at Apple's retail stores.

iPhone 4 will also be available at more than 2,000 Verizon Wireless Communication

Stores nationwide so says the release. Is it my imagination or does it sound like
