Analysts who went in doubtful came out just as doubtful, while analysts who

believe in the Apple story came out firmer in their convictions.

Philip Elmer DeWitt has done his usual bang-up job of gathering pieces and parts of notes

and posting them on Apple 3.0, let us go through a few, shall we?

Goldman Sachs analyst Rod Hall may have been impressed by Apple's crushing numbers last

quarter, though guidance for the current

quarter was less than impressive in his estimation.

Made doubly so, I dare say by the fact that they didn't guide as much as they hinted.

He questions whether there's an iPhone super cycle and wonders whether the Mac and iPad can stay

strong as the world starts to reopen post COVID-19 in that respect at least he is

optimistic. Hall still has a cell rating on Apple's shares he did did up his 12 month price target on the shares though from $80 to

83. UBS analyst David Vote is another who doubts the iPhone super cycle.
