For a lot of people, the word privacy is synonymous with the name Apple.

That makes the FaceTime bug that exploded on the scene Monday afternoon

embarrassing at the very least.

Actually, embarrassing is an understatement. It posed a privacy risk.

A number of sites, including Mac Rumors, had word of the bug, which let a FaceTime user connect to someone and hear their audio

even if the person being called didn't answer. I'm going to tell you the steps

not because you should try it won't work anymore anyway but because you

should know how easy it was. These were the steps according to Mac rumors

initiate a face-time call with, while the call is ringing, swipe up from the bottom of the display,

tap on the ad person button, add your own phone number when it asks for the number of the person to add.
