Apple issued a press release on Tuesday saying that Home Pod, the company's Syrian-enabled smart speaker arrives Friday the 9th of

February, with orders kicking off this Friday the 26th of January in the U.S., the UK, and the U.S. U.S. and the Australia.

What Home Pot will offer that competitors don't is superior sound according to Apple.

As for all the funny little tricks devices like Amazon Echo can do, it wouldn't surprise me

if Home Pond has a few unannounced tricks of its own.

That said, it'll ship with nothing like the skill set that comes with Amazon's device.

Oh, it'll likely be more security and privacy-minded,

but we won't know that for sure until...
