Remember that part where Carl ICON said he would never tell Tim Cook how to manage Apple?

Yeah, never mind about that.

Not only is ICON putting pressure on Apple's board to increase the Cupertino company's share repurchase program,

he also thinks it's time for Apple to get into televisions.

Starting with what he presumably knows about, the money side,

Recode says ICON has significantly increased his position in Apple

again. Like since earlier this week again. A day after disclosing that his stake in Apple had risen past $3 billion, reads the recode piece.

The Gadfly investor said he'd picked up an additional 500 million dollars worth of shares

pushing his total investments to 3.6 billion dollars. That news was revealed in ICON's

Twitter feed along with a jab at Apple's Board.

Quoting the tweet, bought another $500 million of Apple today, bringing our total to $3.6 billion, if Board doesn't see Apple's no-brainer value, we sure do.

If nothing else, ICON proves you really can say a lot in 140 characters or less.

One wonders whether ICON actually hates Apple's Board for being in his way

or is just using Apple's Board as some sort of public leverage.
