More poking by people through the iOS 4.3 beta eye lounge highlights a couple of points of interest. First, there are four new image

files found in the pre-release indicating that the next generation of the iPad will have at least

one camera capable of doing a couple of things.

ILounch points to a 9 to 5 Mac report that says there are three images in the four icons,

a portrait and landscape rendition of the same shutter screen used on iPhones and

iPod touches, then there are two more images, one indicating an empty still photo roll,

and another indicating an empty video camera roll.

While one could expect to find those pictures in the iOS beta since it will in all

likelihood find its way to iPhones and iPod touches, the piece says these images are tagged specifically for

iPad. Their presence would seem to give credence to the expectation that the next iPad will

have at least one camera and will likely support Face Time.

And in the images themselves we find one more hint about the upcoming device.
