One for every hour of every day. Mac rumor says the number of class action lawsuits

filed against Apple over throttling iPhone CPUs now stands at 24, one for every hour of every day.

No doubt you remember what Apple was doing, limiting demands on processors and iPhones with

older batteries to keep the phones from

crashing or freezing. It actually sounds like a decent idea, except Apple didn't

tell iPhone owners it was doing that, hence the two dozen lawsuits.

One of the suits is being brought by a firm that's beaten Apple before, a piece from

9 to 5 max says the firm,

Hagen's Berman, has filed a class action suit against Apple

for secretly installing a feature to intentionally

slow down the iPhone.

If the firm's name rings any bells, the piece says it's because

Hagen's Berman was the firm behind the infamous 450 million dollar iBooks price

fixing suit against Apple.
