How is it possible that we're at the start of yet another year? I'll bet there's

going to be one after this one too. I hope that your New Year's Eve was wonderful. I hope your New Year's day was free of trouble and before we head into the new year in full,

I look back at the year that was 2016.

I wanted to take a little time to look at a very few of the biggest stories of

2016. Joining us today to do that is Jeff Gamut, managing editor of the Mac Observer. Well it's a strange thing you get a whole year you

get a whole year of stories from which to choose and yet I found when I was

going through some of the possibilities for stories this year.

There's a lot of no and not in it.

Like Apple is not building a car, it turns out.

And there's no iPad refresh and there's no Mac Pro and there's been no change to the desktop Mac and I felt like oh and there will be no more displays from Apple like officially now they haven't sold the display in a while but now

officially they're working with LG LG on that. Yep they're working with LG on

that and don't forget that Apple is unofficially out of the wireless

router business.
