A bit of Terry!

This time, world champion, and there ain't nothing you can do it fine.

All right, we got no senator today.

He took a week left.

Doesn't happen often.

And he has called me all week to see what's going on.

But despite no Phil Perry, I was able to soldier through without my comrade out at OTAs.

We had one OTA practice. This is the last one we will see prior to the mandatory minicamp.

Then the Patriots are going to go on break beginning next Wednesday.

So no Cam Newton in practice.

Bill Belichick talked about that and talked a little openly about it. He was Bill

before practice. Yeah, he's doing all right. He won't participate today, but he's getting better.

So nothing serious? No. He's not out there, so,, he'll, I think he'll be all right. Yeah.

So no cam, which means we have to go right to the quarterback chase. How did it look without him out

there? Interestingly, the first guy up for virtually all the reps was Jared Stiddle. Next up in

the drills and the reps, Brian Hoyer, followed by the rookie first round pick Mac Jones. Does that indicate anything? Well, again, I cannot stress this enough. These are non-freaking competitive practices. For a lion's share of these drills and reps, even when it's seven on seven and 11 on 11, the team is going

half speed to give a look, and then when the ball is delivered, after the pass rush, so to speak,

is completed, the ball is thrown to a wide receiver trotting through the end of his route.
