And today we have the second part of my interview with children's author, Mac Barnett.

And I asked Mack, sort of like how he found his way into this business.

I always wondered how do you get into writing children's books?

So what was, I'm going to ask you a question, I hate getting.

That's fine.

What was the foot in the door moment?

I don't hate that question.

I don't mind that question at all.

It's a weird one.

So going back to that camp, there was one picture book.

They had this, just this sort of like dilapidated, just pathetic library of picture books

that I wouldn't go near.
