Karen Read's defense team has filed a motion to dismiss based on what they say is "extraordinary governmental misconduct" on the part of the prosecution. 

Read is charged with second-degree murder and other charges in the death of her boyfriend, Boston Police Officer John O’Keefe, who was found dead in the snow outside of a friend’s home after a night out drinking.
