All right, open phones coming up in 30 minutes. Can't wait. Should be fun today. Every Mariner fan in the city should be pumped up. I am. I'm pumped up. I am. If there were sort of back and forth of the bandwagon this year, I'm on it right now, man. I am really excited about what the Mariners did over the last

week. Lyle and I were both talking about it. And I think we've been up and down at various times

this year, ridden the wave. I have maybe been a little bit more so than in the past. I really like

this. I don't know what's not to like about what they've brought in and creating a lineup that one

through six is excellent and then even

seven through nine looks pretty darn good and you saw what the bottom of the lineup could do last

night this team doesn't have a lot of major weaknesses i don't mean to say they're perfect but they

don't have a lot of major weaknesses the lineup is excellent the pitching staff i know it's not

perfect and hasn't

been as good as you wanted it to be this year, but it's still a very, very good starting staff.

And the one or two spots that you could maybe point to would be the lower leverage parts

of your bullpen and your bench. I mean, I think they're going to use the bench a little bit

less because the starting group is going to be so good.

And it should get a little better in a month with Robles returning.

The bullpen is, look, there's some questions there.

It's the one thing we know they wanted to get done yesterday that they weren't able to do.
