Hey everybody. Welcome to the writing room podcast. And for all of you that have been

tacking along, you might have an interest in writing for many of you faith, guide your

And we have a great friend on Lisa Turkhurst who does daring and bold things.

I'm just picturing you, Lisa, as I'm seeing you right now, and thinking about you

leaping in this obstacle course, you know, 30 feet above the ground or the bar.

Do you remember making that big leap?

I not only remember making the big leap, but I would never have jumped if you weren't

right there talking me through it.

Yeah, so finding some people that you, whose voices you trust, but sometimes it's helpful

to know some context.

There was a judge who came up from Uganda and he was standing at the top of a 30-foot

cliff and there's a big pool of water below him and I said, just jump.

And so he jumped and he hit the water and started flailing around. He didn't know how to swim.

And I would have been helpful for me to ask some probing interrogatory kind of questions in advance.
