Yeah, I'm excited about this week.

We're doing Psalms.

Yeah, I love Psalms.

I am so excited about talking about this with you.

One of my favorite preparation is just so fulfilling to read.

Really?

I think so. I feel like they testify of Christ and they testify the temple and you can read them and find different levels. And I just feel like the more I read them, the more I

understand them better. And it's just nice to have little pieces at a time though.

It's not like I want to read. It's not a page turn of the way on and get to the end of the book.

You just want to absorb and cherish each little section.

So tell me about the composition in the history of Psalms.

Well, obviously there's 150 that we've got canonized at least of these beautiful Hebrew poems.

But you know, Hebrew poetry is not like English poetry.

So looking for parallels and imagery.

And out of these 150, about a third of them are anonymous.

And I was interested because we have 73 that are claimed to be David.

And then the New Testament adds, Acts and Hebrews says there's a couple more.

So there's 74 or 75 possibly that are from David.
